The food is great, service is great and just an overall awesome place! Got to try their new ice cream and it was delicious! (I may have ate the cherry and took a bite out of the other side before taking this picture lol)
Visited on a busy Saturday night, party of eight. We had reservations and waited less than five minutes for our table to be ready. Parking was the only downside. And they are planning to update that soon. Food was exceptional. I had the Western Burger with a swap to baked potato instead of fries. Crunchy shell, with butter and salt, soooo perfect! I chose a canned IPA because a burger needs a beer. I made note of the creative and interesting cocktail choices and may try on my next visit. Maddie, our server, was intuitive, prompt and friendly. She checked back on us and made sure our visit was a good one. The owner/manager was on site and fully engaged, making sure things rolled right, while still finding time to chat with customers. Can’t wait to go back! These folks are doing it right!
Visited for 1st time and really enjoyed our dinners. We both had the black diamond steaks. The steaks were flavorful and tender. Food came quickly. Big portions. We'll return. Parking lot is small and fills quickly though.
The French onion soup was a tad light body wise, needed more of a boil down, but it was still very good. Wings were delicious! Cheese steaks were delectable, soft and not chewy. The French onion burger needed an onion roll or a chibata roll but also very good. Was impressed with the food and our waitress [Kristi] was wonderful. Fantastic old building that was kept true to form.
Went here for a date night is inside a really nice historic building. Staff was friendly and service was quick. The food was good and great prices. Would absolutely come back.
We went for lunch around 1:30pm on a Friday. There were many tables available. The place was clean, the service was friendly and prompt. The menu had a lot of variety, the place look authentic and seemed like owner managed which is always a good thing according to my opinion. The food we ordered tasted great. The portions were generous and all in all it was a lovely experience that would definitely be repeated if we are in the skiing area again.
This was our first visit here ever, old version and new. We got there early at 4:30 on a Thursday. Upon arrival the parking is a little funky. It's kind of a free for all with no specific designated parking area. We were greeted immediately after walking in and seated promptly. We were the only table seated. We ordered drinks and Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer. The shrimp had a kick but not overly spicy. They came with Bleu cheese. Probably our favorite of the night. For the entrees, we ordered the Charlie's Burger and a cheese steak. The burger wasn't impressive. It had a weird taste and no grill flavor. I believe it was baked or pan fried. The grove boasts the ambience of grilled meats behind the bar. It smelled delicious outside like a grill when we left. Maybe the grill isn't turned on until a certain time. It also wasn't fresh or handmade, frozen. The cheese steak was alright. It came with red sauce on it. The cocktails were good and priced reasonable. By the time we left I think all the tables were taken. The atmosphere is decent and a nice touch with the fireplace. The flooring does not go with the decor. Overall it was good experience and will likely go again. The food was priced appropriately and is nice and local.
Excellent restaurant, fast service, and cheaper prices than expected. The owner and manager are very friendly. I will definitely be back❤️❤️
